The police in Lira on Saturday June 20 arrested one Enyang Joel, Lira Referral Hospital Pharmacy attendant for steeling 3 boxes of drugs from the hospital.

Enyang was arrested and later detained in a cell during the press time after he was caught with 3 boxes of drugs in his white Corona car number UAE 737C that was also impounded.
According to a boda boda cyclist who is based near Lira Referral Hospital, Enyang used to carry drugs in his car every Thursday, Friday and Saturday so people got concerned and reported him to the police.
AIP Ocaya Marino, acting officer in charged of crime, Lira Central Police station, said the law would now take it course on Enyang who was charged with theft and pubic property mismanagement.
Ocaya said his file case is SDR 155/2008 at Lira Central Police Station. He reminded people working in public offices to abide by the law of the country.
