Kony failed to show up in Ri-kwangba again

Gulu, May 14, 2008: Joseph Kony, the LRA rebel leader, has once again frustrated leaders who braved the hazardous journey to Ri-Kwangba and slept rough for three days waiting to meet him, by failing to show up. The leaders decided to return to Juba today (Wednesday).

Religious leaders urged to help promote unity

Lira, May 14, 2008: The Chairman of Lango Parliamentary Group and Member of Parliament for Oyam North Hon Ben Wacha has called upon religious leaders to help unite the people of Lango. Hon Wacha made the appeal at the end of a two-day workshop at Boroboro Cathedral.

MP Otto on fire over Constituency Development Fund

Pader, May 14, 2008: Aruu County MP Samuel Odonga Otto has told his constituents not to disturb him over the Constituency Development Fund. He said he has so far put to good use the 10 million shillings he received under the fund in 2007.
